bettercallclaude.org (the "Site") is operated by Robauto, Inc. ("Robauto," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Entertainment & Informational Purposes Only

All content, tools, documents, templates, checklists, AI-generated output, and other materials made available on the Site (collectively, the "Content") are provided for entertainment and general informational purposes only. The Content is not legal advice and is not a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. Nothing on the Site creates an attorney-client relationship between you and Robauto, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, members, shareholders, affiliates, or agents (collectively, the "Robauto Parties").

Robauto is not a law firm. No Robauto Party is your lawyer. Do not rely on the Content to make legal, financial, or other consequential decisions. Always consult a qualified attorney licensed in your jurisdiction before taking action.

2. No Warranty

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE ROBAUTO PARTIES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Robauto Parties make no representation or warranty that (a) the Content is accurate, complete, current, or appropriate for any particular situation or jurisdiction; (b) any document produced by the Site will be legally sufficient, admissible, enforceable, or effective; (c) the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; or (d) any AI-generated output is correct or reliable.

3. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL ANY ROBAUTO PARTY BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, LEGAL RIGHTS, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR THE CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE ROBAUTO PARTIES FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, the Robauto Parties' liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that legal matters can have serious consequences and that outcomes depend on facts, jurisdiction, procedure, timing, and many other variables outside our control. You use the Site, and any Content or documents you generate through it, entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, filing, serving, and acting on any material you generate.

5. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Robauto Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, awards, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use or misuse of the Site or the Content; (b) any document, letter, filing, communication, or action you create, send, file, or take based on the Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

6. AI Disclosure — You May Be Interacting With AI

The Site uses artificial intelligence (AI), including large language models ("LLMs"), to generate suggested language, draft demand letters, produce checklists, answer questions, and power other features. By using the Site you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You may be interacting with an AI system rather than a human. Responses, drafts, chats, and suggestions may be produced entirely or partly by automated systems.
  • AI can and does make errors. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, fabricated ("hallucinated"), or inappropriate for your specific situation or jurisdiction. Citations, statutes, deadlines, dollar limits, and procedural steps generated by AI should never be relied on without independent verification.
  • AI output is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship with any Robauto Party.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, correcting, and, where appropriate, having a licensed attorney review any AI-generated material before relying on, sending, filing, or otherwise acting on it.
  • Content you submit to AI-powered features may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI providers in order to generate a response. Do not submit information you are not willing to share for that purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Robauto Parties disclaim all liability for any AI-generated output and any consequences arising from your use of it.

7. Free Service, Pay for the AI and Advertising Spend You Use

BetterCallClaude is free. The platform does not offer legal services or advice. It is a free tool using publicly available LLM models. Robauto.ai provides free use but retains a 12.5% markup on actual advertising and AI/Cloud costs used during your sessions for specific agentic workflows or excessive usage as a way to keep the access free to most users.

Optional agentic workflows — including broadcast and deep search agents — are billed only against the budget you set before deploying. That budget covers actual third-party advertising, API, AI, and cloud costs incurred on your behalf, plus the 12.5% Robauto markup. No agent runs, and no cost is incurred, unless you explicitly deploy it. Estimates shown in the interface are estimates only, and actual third-party rates may vary.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to (a) engage in unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent activity; (b) practice law without a license or hold yourself out as an attorney; (c) submit false, misleading, or infringing content; or (d) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Site.

9. People Search, Court Records & PACER

People Search and Court Record Search are research tools that surface publicly available information. Results are generated in part by AI, may be incomplete, outdated, mismatched to the wrong person, or simply wrong, and must be independently verified before you rely on them for any purpose.

Not a consumer report. These tools are not a consumer reporting agency service, and the results are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You may not use them, in whole or in part, to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenancy, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. You may not use them to stalk, harass, intimidate, dox, or unlawfully discriminate against any person.

Federal court records (PACER). Federal docket data is retrieved from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts' PACER service and remains subject to the PACER Terms of Use. PACER searches are optional, run only when you explicitly request them, and are passed through to you at the fees PACER charges. We do not resell, warehouse, bulk-redistribute, or create derivative databases from PACER data, and you agree not to do so either. Results are provided for your individual research session only.

Robauto is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PACER, the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, or any court or government agency.

9A. Accounts, Automated Access & Rate Limits

A free account is required to run People Search, Court Record Search, and certain other AI-powered features. Accounts let us attribute searches to a real, identifiable person, honor privacy-law requests, investigate abuse, and keep the service free for everyone. You agree to provide accurate registration information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to remain responsible for all activity under your account.

Automated and agent access. AI agents, scripts, and other automated clients may use our public API only with an account-issued API key, transmitted as a bearer token, and only while identifying the email address of the human on whose behalf they act. API keys are personal to the account holder, may not be shared, resold, or sublicensed, and may be revoked at any time.

Rate limits. Searches are rate limited per account and per API key (currently 10 per hour and 40 per day for individual accounts, and 20 per hour and 120 per day for agent API keys). You may not circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, rate limits, authentication, throttling, or any other access control, including by creating multiple accounts or keys. We may suspend or terminate accounts and keys for abuse without notice.

9B. Data Privacy Laws & Permissible Use

By creating an account or running any search, you represent, warrant, and agree that you will comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and (where relevant) foreign data privacy, consumer protection, and records laws, including without limitation:

  • the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. — you will not use results, in whole or in part, for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenant screening, or any other FCRA-covered eligibility purpose;
  • the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and state analogues;
  • the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), HIPAA, and other sector-specific privacy laws, to the extent they apply to you;
  • the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CAN-SPAM Act if you contact anyone using information you find;
  • the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) and state computer-crime laws;
  • state comprehensive privacy statutes including the California Consumer Privacy Act/CPRA, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Virginia CDPA, the Connecticut CTDPA, the Utah UCPA, the Texas TDPSA, and any successor or comparable law in your jurisdiction;
  • state anti-stalking, anti-harassment, anti-doxxing, biometric privacy (e.g., Illinois BIPA), and identity-theft statutes.

Prohibited uses. You will not use the Site or any search result to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, dox, defraud, impersonate, discriminate against, or cause harm to any person; to build, sell, or contribute to a background-check, people-search, credit, or marketing database; to scrape, bulk-download, warehouse, resell, or redistribute results; or to train a machine-learning model on personal information obtained through the Site.

Your role. Where applicable privacy law applies to your use, you act as the controller (or equivalent) of the personal information you request and receive, and you are solely responsible for having a lawful basis and a permissible purpose for that request, for responding to data-subject requests directed to you, and for the security and lawful disposal of the information. Robauto processes your queries to deliver results and retains search logs for security, abuse prevention, billing, and legal compliance.

We log every search with the requesting account and, for API access, the API key and the human email address supplied. We may disclose these records in response to lawful process, to investigate abuse, or to defend legal claims. Requests about personal data may be sent to Support@robauto.ai.

Your indemnity obligations in Section 5 expressly extend to any claim arising from your violation of this Section 9B.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to third-party websites, court portals, government agencies, and other resources. The Robauto Parties do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of any third party.

11. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, branding, code, and original content are owned by Robauto or its licensors. Certain resources may be offered under an open-source license as expressly indicated.

12. Modifications & Termination

We may modify these Terms or the Site at any time. Continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice.

13. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
